Demae: Deliver Me EP

Hailing from North West London (my hometown), I first heard Demae on SoundCloud with her cover of More than a Woman and was instantly hooked. Back then she was called Bubblerap. You can say her sound was before her time and she put herself in her own lane. 

September has come and she has now released her EP Deliver Me and she has not come to disappoint at all. 

My ears were greeted with rich chords and bass lines, which were accompanied by vocal layering that truly captured my senses and made me want more. It’s a delightful listen.

If I had anything to compare it to - just imagine you’re watching an  episode of Insecure and you’ll know exactly what I mean. That show never missed and neither did Demae. 

I’m so happy to hear her again and I hope there is more to follow.
