Single Spotlight: Tate McRae - Revolving Door

Now this is for the pop girlies! While the album was nothing to talk about for ME blink - whoever said that revolving door was going to be the single deserves a promotion immediately!

As a young girl my influences of pop music stemmed from my mum and this made my ears develop a high taste level for good girl anthems. Revolving Door captures the feeling I felt when I first heard Britney or Christina, but the video also solidified everything for me.

I love the lyrics also, very easy to grasp and you get the message. She has so many good one liners and to be honest it’s giving sad girl.

The choreography is sensational and obviously has all the TikTok dancer girls in a tizzy. The filming and editing is so simple but  effective - I clearly watched that video way too many times and I’m not guilty.

I wouldn’t say I’m a fan of Tate BUT I am a fan of this song and what she has achieved with it. I hope her album does well amongst her fans and she gains new ones.
