Classical Moments

While I do like to shake my arse, sway to some r’n’b or pretend to be a video vixen in the club (maybe at home too), I do love some classical music.

There is something about the genre that really excites me. It’s the liveness of it all, the dramatics and how one soft tap of a key can touch such a fragile part of your heart or if the keys are hit vigouriously, you now feel empowered. This is the type of music that when you close your eyes, your mind just takes you to wherever it is you want to go - whether it’s a made up place, a memory or perhaps a memory you’d like to create.

I mainly fell in love with classical music by watching films and TV shows - because I love a history lesson and a period drama will have me by the neck.

I often find that in times of me wanting to just have stillness and peace, just the music is the best way to go. So below I’ve listed some of my favourite pieces that should help you to unwind - whether you just want your body to flow gently, ease yourself into your day or simply focus on studying/work.

I hope you find these beautiful pieces useful and you enjoy every note played.
